Resume Builder ("the app", "we", "our") is built around one simple rule: your resume is yours, and it stays on your device.
Resume Builder does not require an account, sign-in, or any personal information to use. The only data the app handles is what you choose to type while building a CV — name, contact details, work history, education, skills, and an optional profile photo. This data is entered by you, for you, and is stored only in local, on-device storage. We never see it, collect it, or have any server that receives it.
If you choose to add a profile photo, the app uses your device's photo picker. The selected image is copied into the app's local storage on your device only. It is never uploaded anywhere.
Resume Builder works fully offline. Creating, editing, storing, previewing, and exporting your CVs — including PDF generation — all happen entirely on your device with no internet connection. The app makes no network requests and sends no data off your device.
We do not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or crash-reporting SDKs. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with any third party, because we never receive it in the first place.
You can delete an individual CV at any time from the home screen, or permanently erase all app data (every CV and every setting) from Settings → Delete all data. Uninstalling the app also permanently removes all locally stored data. (Your device's own OS-level cloud backup, if enabled, is outside our control — see your device settings.)
Resume Builder is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) and we do not knowingly collect information from children, since we do not collect information from anyone.
If this policy changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, note it in the app.
